Reminds me of the Stephen King book Missery!

In the end the The doctors told him that he would have had a vorse limping if he actualy had his leg intact...
If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

Jeremy Clarkson "806 brake horsepower..and that on that limp wrist faerie liquid the Americans call petrol, if you run it on the more explosive jungle juice we have in Europe you'd be getting 850 brake horsepower..."

I took the time to read this guy's website, and I don't really have a problem with it.

His feet are currently useless to him b/c of nerve damage, and he has no hope of walking on them, ever. If he has his feet amputated, he can put on prosthetics that will help him to walk. He's on Medicare/Medicaid and they won't pay for this. He's just trying to raise money for his surgery, as well as awareness about how ridiculous it is that he can't get support for it, since walking has been deemed "non-necessary" by our insurance system.

You know, there are charitable hospitals that would perform the amputation and eat the expense, if a doctor recomends the procedure. I live right near one.

It's not the amputation that needs the money, but the prosthesis.
