Isn't that what the recycle bin/deleted messages/whatever is for in your email program? I still have a couple of them from way back when someone here on the fori got banned and in retaliation spammed all the moderators, by adding our email addresses to a whole shitload of spamming lists. Everyday 250+ emails in your list is not fun. I caught most of them by making a rule, banning them to my deleted messages folders in my email programs. Most of them I could disable, some of them still enter my del mess folder every day.

            Hello, I'd suggest three things:

            1. Have your mail program filter it to the bin.
            2. Find out who really sent the spam and generate an auto-complaint at http://spamcop.net
            3. If spam from one particular entity drives you mad, politely ask your ISP to block their subnet.

I've had a couple like this to my old hotmail account - I think they had some sort of auto generator that just went through a list of likely looking names and added numbers to the end to get people.
There also seems to be a program for automatically generating a logins for some of the free providers like hotmail and excite - I keep getting spam from adresses like adb10234@excite.com.

My biggest bugbear is some spam for one of these bullsh*t university degrees (just send $25) from some w*anker in Canada. For about 3 months I chased every single one down on a daily basis and complained to the ISPs.
What really annoyed me is this guy supplied a phone number so he could be traced, but none of the ISPs seemed to care, although they must have banned his accounts on a weekly basis.
