recently I had the honor to get my working rig updated and now I run an indeed nice system ...

the rest of it ain't bad too, but nothing spectacular and thus I'll leave at this.

and keep in mind that this ain't my private rig and surely I didn't want to dismiss anybody's setup but rather share the joy it is to run such a baby.

grabbing it directly form DVD, this hovers between 32 and 24 fps in both passes, depending on actual screen contents !

Bad thing now is I can't really do anything else to it , except maybe upgrade to a XP processor..which at this point is slightly pointless unless they come out with a non PR Rated 2 Ghz Chip then I would be interested. More Memory would be nice but dont see that happing till I can get another 512MB of registered DDR RAM for less then $100 or so.

You are correct sir. This is the first ML570 I have had my hands one. The other Compaq servers we have are Proliant 3000s. This is a nice upgrade.
