    The Viagra Chip!

    Directly from the incredible PcChips:

    "VIAgra" chipset:

    VIA MVP4 82C501A north bridge (integrates Trident Blade3D
    graphics core), 686A south bridge (integrated SuperIO, plus an integrated
    sound unit that is unused on this board). Used on M585LMR. www.via.com.tw.

    If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

      I Found it while I was searching for a new BIOS to a PCcrap board...

      I wonder if they knew what they did when they called the MVP4 for "VIAgra"

        Perhaps they mean "ProblemAhead"........

        This chipset is almost as bad as Intel i810. I would need some "Viagra-stuff" to "kick" it ahead

          Either they all of a sudden have grown a sense of humor or there is a vast shortage of folks with knowledge of western culture and English in Taiwan

          But then again maybe they do have a sense of humor already, given their product line

                    Like not including any PS2 mouse headers!!!

                      because they had a bunch of motherboards they sold with fake L2: Plastic cases labelled "write back."
                      Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
