Nive try Mordrid and cjolley, but Laura Croft is not pre-1985. It's a good thought though.

        I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

(If you were not Mario you would be Jetpac Man.)

        I am Jetpac Man.

I love the outdoors; the sense of freedom, of adventure. I love the sensation of free-fall, and would parachute and bungee jump on a moment's notice. I know where I want to be, and I strive to get there, making great effort to collect what I need. I let nothing stand in my way.

          I am a Light Cycle.
I drive fast, I turn fast, I do everything fast. I even breakfast. I tend to confuse people with my sudden changes of heart. Sometimes I even confuse myself, which tends to cause problems.

(If you were not a Light Cycle you would be a Base-defender.)

          I am a Base-defender.
What's mine is mine, and I make sure everyone knows it. Nobody invades my space without permission - I'd destroy everything I own before letting someone take it from me. I tend to be forward-facing, which is both a strength and a weakness.

I think the first one is more appropriate, although I might have something from the base defender as well....

I became the Scorched Earth Tank, but something in the description doesn't fit in...hm...ah yes, the part about "I will not stop until I get job done" or something like that. The thruth is, sadly that I hardly ever get anything done.

                    I am Kung Fu Master.

I like to be in control of myself. I dislike crowds, especially crowds containing people trying to kill me. Even though I always win, I prefer to avoid fights if possible.

I am small and tricky - where you think I am, I probably am not. Well, I was gonna be the light cycle from Tron, but someone beat me to it(how apropo, being light cycles).

                        so, I am Luke Skywalker.

I fly an X-wing and defend the Rebellion's free citizens from the Evil Lord Vader's minions. I slice across intergalactic skys, knocking down wave after wave of TIE fighters.

I tear across planetary surfaces, evading fire from towers, and taking out turrets, clearing the way for the rebellion.

I duck and dodge thru the Death Star's trench, using the force, never once firing my cannons, and then, using a single Torpedo, take out the whole dastardly complex.

then I do it again on level 2 LOL

I spent way too much money on that dang game

                          hmm how unfortunately accurate...

                          I am an Asteroid.

I am a drifter. I go where life leads, which makes me usually a very calm and content sort of person. That or thoroughly apathetic. Usually I keep on doing whatever I'm doing, and it takes something special to make me change my mind.

it's all tongue in cheek humour. Of course I am not deluded enough to think that I am Luke or any other member of the rebellion. But thank you for the vote of confidence in my writing ability

as well, this was a LONG time ago, and maybe then, when I was 14 or so, I did, briefly think, in a childish fantasy sort of way, that I was fighting for the rebellion. I assure you, my feet are firmly planted in the brown mud of reality.

PS, asteroids was cool too. And if Tron and Starwars were taken, I played Asteroids.

and I ran, rode bikes, fished, swam competetively and read alot. Such is the freedom of no job, and "School's out for Summer!"
