HAAAAAALELUIAH!!!!!!!

HAAAAAALELUIAH!!!!!!!

Bortherhood of the Wolf FIANLLY made it to KC this weekened! w00t!!!

On top of that, Kung Pow and the Count of Monte Cristo is out. Looks like a fun filled movie weekend

Anther good place for DVD's is www.dvdexpress.com . If you pre-order from them their prices can't be beat. After that, they are about average.

I accidently forgot Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring from my initial post. If you haven't seen this movie, get your fanny-perpendicular out of your computer chair and go see it....RIGHT NOW!!!! Even if you don't like fantasy, this is a fabulous movie. Just remember, this is the first of three movies, so it's not going to have a "complete ending."

Some good classic war movies are: The Big Red One, Gun of Naverone (sp?) and All Quiet of the Western Front.

Just saw Vandread second stage ep13... very sorry it's over; I hope they'll make a 3rd stage. There are some questions unanswered.
The path I walk alone is endlessly long.
It's 30 minutes by bike, 15 by bus.
Puni puni poemi

Anime worth watching:

japanese allways leave questions unanswered at the end of a series

otherwise I think the ending was quite ok, what unanswered questions would you like have seen answered in ep 13 ?

Well..
Misty's origin is still unknown, the mystery of the Pexis is still a mystery, what's wrong with the boss of the pirates, how did Gascoigne survive the harvesters?
Just to name a few.

I know that the Japanese like to have a more or less open ending now and then, but these kind of endings leave plenty of room for a third stage, or at least an OVA or movie.

They may do a 3rd stage, but no one knows. Knowing anime, they will make a spin off series in the future involving Hibiki and Dita's kids that will be okay at best and completely change the philosophy of the series.

FYI...Brotherhood of the Wolf was cool. Not your standard Hollywood action fair, so it may not be everyone's taste. Very good none-the-less.

And that is ALL!!! I now return to my regularly scheduled insanity.

I buy all my DVDs from HollywoodVideo when they have good deals like DEC/FEB they had the deal previously viewed movies (all in perfect condition) 4 VHS for $20, and 2 DVD $20.. we went crazy with buying stuff. i think between Dec.15th to Jan. 10th we ended up with about 60 VHS and 15 DVD's (including FightClub double cd; Toystory & toystory 2 collection set; and Terminator 2 special edition set).. i love that place. I might get a part time job there for the discount. But anyway also a good place to buy dvds and vhs and video games is www.half.com can't beat em'.
