How do you know that your day is completle and uterly bad?
In my case :
1. I overslept this morning.
2. While on my way to work on my moped i noticed a patch of ice on the road and decelerated to about 1/4 of my original speed.
Sorry to say it was not enough!!
I got the "no traction" feeling and the moped whent in one direction, I in another direction!
Laying on my back on the road I noticed that atleas I had only slightly hurt my leg at the knee.
The Moped was ok, so I continued my way.
3. a mile later a clatering nose was heard and the engine roared out of controll while the speed dropped.
Turning around I saw the Chain laying on the road abot 20-30 yards away.
The chrach must have made the chainlock "unlock"
And I din't find the chainlock!
So I had to drag the moped the last 2 miles
4. I got a lift to a bicycle shop and bought a new chainlock, the guy in the store compared it to the chain that I had brought with me.
Got back to work, pulled the chain onto the cogwheels and ofcourse found out that the chinlock Did not fit!!!!
The lenght and widht was fine but the pins was to thick!
After visiting the store again and also phoning every other store I could not lockate a fiting chainlock.
Seems like I have to get a complete new chain from a store in another town some thirty miles away
