      My 16th Birthday gift was a mint condition M1 Garand I think its dated 1944 or 45.

                  Sorry Bohrn... I plan on being buried with that weapon... I am sure the facilitator of the funeral may be a bit peeved off at me.. but I would rather have that than a rose across my chest.

                  I wish my digital camera wasn't broken or I would take a picture of it... I only get out with it once or twice a year.. but its amazing how much stress one can blow off at 100-200 yards against barbeque propane tanks.

                    My father served in the US army in the early 60's and he swears by them. he could hit targets consistantly at very long ranges. And field strip it in the dark. Great gun. Stupid Canadian gun reggy laws tho, so I will probably never get one...

                                I rented the director's cut a while back, and I have to agree with you. That ending sucked. The whole thing seemed too dark, and that made it amazingly un-funny considering that most of the content was the same.

                                I have since purchased the original on DVD and I'm much happier with it.
