Fire up a copy of MAME, and get some ROMs. The original Star Wars, Spy Hunter, Discs of Tron, tons of things that stole all my quarters growing up.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

I forgot one of the really good ones: ghosts&goblins... (Surely forgot other great ones as well, but those are the ones that come to my mind now)
However I'd like to disagree on the Shadow of the Beast part. While it had stunning gfx at that time it's gameplay was only mediocre at best.
But we named the *dog* Indiana...

Yes, MAME is great. Unfortunately MAME-GL didn't work with Matrox' nonsufficient try of an OpenGL ICD for the G400 (it works with both, ATI and NVidia, hell even the 3DFx MiniGL does seem to work )

I really hope the rumors are correct that they finally hired a professional team for the OpenGL on the Parhelia...

What are you saying?!? Who cares about gameplay when you've got pretty parallax scrolling and stuff!

(Yes, the parallax-scrolling was really neat by then...)

BTW, have you ever seen Microcosm on the CD32? It can hold itself against even newer PlayStation titles if you only rate the gfx. Unfortunately gameplay really sucks (it was by Psygnosis as well...)

I didn't really care for that movie. Something about loudmouthed, pushy feminist matriarchs singing show tunes just turns my stomach.. but hey, to each his own!

Never got the chance to play with the CD32 much. Psygnosis really was good at making awful games with awfully pretty graphics... :-) Hired Guns wasn't that bad of a game though... it was a blast to play multiplayer. My two brothers and I beat the game like that, three way split screen.
