I drove my uncles Citroen once.
After approaching the first junction of the journey and around 10 seconds later wiping my face off of the front windscreen I decided that the pedal didn't require as much pressure as the VW I was driving at that time.
It cost one penny to cross, or one hundred gold pieces if you had a billygoat.
Trolls might not be quick thinkers but they don't forget in a hurry, either

        Lol!
A common problem with old Citroens. The brakes tend to go rather 'digital'

snickers... an old roomate of mine in the USAF was coming to an intersection (stop sign for him) one night during shift change. This main throughfare was bumper to bumper and the side road he was on was hard packed snow... well he freaked when the brakes failed todo anything and knew that unless disperate action was taken he'd carrine into many.

Now you must understand that this was an old Jeep Honcho 4x4 with big snow tires... he tossed it into reverse and stompted on the gas, the wheels lit up and snow went a flying, barking to an immediate stop, whew he thought. Then BANG! rearended... the policeman right behind him couldn't stop.

When he got home he was grinin ear to ear shouting, I GOT ONE, I GOT ONE!!!
