Just remember.. innocence is not goodness. It is a state of neutrality, a void which remains to be filled with good or evil.

That's what scares me when parents say they want to keep their children innocent. It cannot be done.. if parents fail to fill the void of innocence with wisdom, their friends will fill it with foolishness. If parents would be honest with their kids, and love them, and teach them right from wrong by action and not by word alone, this world would be a much better place.
