  • Arrghhh... LS OTS!!!

I've decided to convert my 4+ year old LS (LiteStep) theme to OTS (Open Theme Standard) and Its driving me slightly nuts...

My theme config was originaly newer intended to be more than a quick patch to Tin_Omen's default Theme....

To say that it has evolved would be nice but a delucion never the less...

    It has MUTATED!!

    And everything is hard coded!

And I keep finding references to features that haven't even existed for years....

a total mess is what its is....

only stuff thats is required to be loaded first is in order everything else is spagheti...

    I don't make any sense do I?

Well it don't make any sense to me neither!

But on the bright side I will be able to check out other OTS themes without botching mine when the conversion is finnished....

By the evil script kidies wrath...
    It worked!!!!
My base theme Is now semi OTS compliant.....
Now I only have to exterminate all hardcoded entries and replace them with!

So, what are the benefits of the OTS?
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

It should make switching themes a lot easier.....
