    Well I have brown eyes and since I'm in front of a computer monitor for the last 15 years I can usually guess the monitor refresh rate.

    Besides, once you're in a help desk or somewhere with many computers with different configurations and hardware side by side, you'll easily notice the differences between one monitor refresh and the other.

    I like 85hz and above but I can live with 75.
    Been working on 60hz for quite a long time (VT220/320/420/520 and laptops) but I've seen worse... Ever tried 52 and 48hz ?
