I just spent 2 hours reading the [h] forum.... that truly is a bit of a kindergarden..... I really like Kyles stuff, and I have lurked on their fori for about a year... but its way out of order....

our own matrox hardware forum is just as bad at the mo.....

the thing is, the card doesnt appear that bad, even in an fps war!... Some of our minimurcers need to take a chill pll..... or lay of the blue smarties!!!

take a deap breath and I am sure that before we get a chance to buy the card, Rags, Dr M and co will give us some reasoned feedback....

till then I think I will try to read around and see..... I didnt buy a third monitor for nothing though! I still have an nfacrce motherboard waiting for a quality video card....

Ant warned us about that, we would get a mouthfull of miniMurcers, when the parhelia would appear, and I don´t think all those minis have been lurking long enough to NOT expect a geforce4TI killer.

No matter how much you prepare, it is a bit hard to handle when a part of you was secretly hoping Parhelia WOULD be a geforce 4 ti killer, despite the logical part of you saying otherwise. Then their cries resonate with that illogical part of you and vex the rest of you. That just tore me apart.

to be honest i feel the same way as you MadScot, parhelia certainly "looked" like a GF4ti killer in the paper-specs, I guess that fooled most of us into thinking like you.

when the P @275/300 Mhz comes out - I reckon it will whup the GF4.... Pity the GF5 will be out.....

well, i bought my g400max after the geforce was out, and i haven´t regretted it yet.
