However, in MY eyes, a bunch of ignoran Q'ran thumpers running around the desert oppressing women and exhibiting poor hygeine is "wrong".

Must be the local mosque having an anti American day.
I walked into the local take away and got a lecture on how evil America was.
Anyway in cricket terms most of the arguments I dispatched to the boundary for four. The comment from the owner about the Koran was a full toss and I hit that for six. He'd forgotten I've read quite a bit of it. I left with the parting shot that theres evidance that the Koran has been altered. That gave him somthing to think about.
Pity all I wanted was a meal and not a political disscussion.

Joel, The Pit, I'll provide the answer to both your questions if you'd only share what you're referring to.

Sorry for just jumping in like this - I have been 'hovering' around over this forum ON/OFF very recently and it just seems like the-place-to-be when there's no-where-else-to-be.

For me it's really a rhetorical question. It's all about that old saying, You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. And as Gurm pointed out just the fact that the US exist at all is considered so wrong in some people's eyes that the thought of slaughtering thousands if not millions of innocent men, women and childern is considered the right thing to do, all in the name of religion. Which that kind of thought is so screwed up for me because I was raised to believe that you should "love your enemies", "love your neighbor as you love yourself", and "to do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
