AFAIK NASA defunded research on Podkletnov's ideas. This can mean only two things;
1. it didn't work (most likely)
2. they moved the research to the Skunk Works

If by that you mean the keely motor, then yes. I think that guy just had bad luck: he was much earlier than he was supposed to be, most of his ideas were stolen by other scientists (hello Tesla whatchu got there?) or misuderstood and frowned upon.
Anyways, it makes for some really interesting reading nowadays, when the science is finally catching on and beginning to understand the processes that made his inventions work (which was 120 years ago btw...). I sure hope one day we will be able to recreate some of his inventions.

Is that right? It seems to my physics memory that this is just poor understanding, science BS, or bad writing. Am I wrong, or does this guy not make sense?It can be argued that this process is actually an instantaneous acceleration of the elementary particulate constructs of the molecular substance under investigation. Within the conventional Theory of Relativity it is shown that the faster an object moves the denser it gets. The denser something gets the smaller it becomes and the more energy it contains and/or releases.

I have read a loot of the site now and I don’t like the feeling I get.
