I could have come up with a dozen possible reasons as to why there would be locks.

Why has noone answered the original question? I wonder if anyone in the UK can confirm we actually ask for a beefburger though, where appropriate?
And does a statement with a question mark at the end of it, really qualify as a question?
I wonder...(?)

The original question is easy. Ground sirloin came to popularity in Hamburg. The interesting part is that it seems that the hamburger (the thing with the bun) is actually American, invented somewhere around 1890 or so.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. So if it was easy, it remains to be answered 'why' it wasn't already answered, does it not?
Although, I myself fall victim to this, as I didn't answer the original question either, didn't I?
Does that mean that the topic is now over?Meet Jasmine.

HA! And why are they called 7/11? Because it rhymes? Because 0.63636363... has something to do with the illuminati? Or because they wanted to call it 42 (which would make sense), but couldn't afford such high numbers?

The name is 7-11. And those are the original hours.
Pace: for a while this thread was nothing but questions, and I didn't want to break the trend.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

No, the "chopped sirloin steak" was from Hamburg.
Americans added the bun and called it a "hamburger."Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

I think I don't know any hamburgers with buns, or do I, and just don't notice? I'm not that of a fast food fan, I guess.

Wow...a burger with no bun?! Is Germany still on the planet? I thought they were still in the EU, but maybe someone can tell me if they are, can you?
And am I still allowed to answer the original question with a question?
How did RibsteakRon not know that the "chopped sirloin steak" was from Hamburg, and Americans simply added the bun and called it a "hamburger"? There, is that a satisfactory question, while still containing the answer?
And does Wombat mind me stealing his words?Meet Jasmine.

Erm.. maybe I don't know what a bun is, but I thought it's what is inside a hot dog?
of course there is beef on a hamburger. What McD or Burger King sell as hamburgers is a joke, though.

A bun is a roll (little round bread thing? ), ok?
A hot dog roll is a longer, thinner one, capisce?Meet Jasmine.
