I did once that 2 lanes trick to some real ****ole.

I turned right to a road after seeng an incoming car quite far away at night.
I couldn't know he was doing 120kph on a 60kph road so when I was accelerating around 50kph (on my beaten Peguot 205 1100cc) he was already behind me with high lights driving me mad.
So I slowed my car down to 15kph and then to 5kph. He got quite frustrated so he switched lanes to the incoming traffic one.
I gave him 2 seconds and accelerated like crazy (He had a much better car but he was propably a lousy driver) so I didn't let him switch back. Finally there was a car coming on his lane and he accelerated like crazy to around 130kph to pass me and get back to lane. No problem here, I went to 130 to keep him there , once the incoming car started to show stress signs (blinking high lights for the a-hole to get out of his way), I slowed down a bit to let him pass me, just so I could give him a taste of my high lights once the incoming traffic finished.
Too bad the road ended 100m later and we went on our sepeate ways.

Some people seem to think that traffic laws only apply when there’s a cop present: devious:

I saw a real classic yesterday in the same vein.
I have to park about quarter of a mile from my office in a small private car park, this means I have to use a couple of the local rat-runs to get in and out. The local council put speed humps all along the road, and what with the residents parking in the street things sometimes get a little congested.
Most all of the time people stop and let each other through gaps with a wave. However last night a delivery van and a couple of cars had managed to get in a right snarl up. As they were sorting out who went were and when, a queue of a dozen or more cars formed. As we were all sitting there, some damn stupid woman in her Nissan Micra comes pootling gently up the outside of the lot of us in the other lane, and doesnt stop until she comes face to face with the van who's just managed to clear the blockage and wasnt too impressed, and neither were the rest of us in the queue.
Its times like that I'd just Love to be a traffic cop.

Similar thing happened to me once, except it was me doing the speed.

Dual carriage way with 2 lanes each way and a 50mph speed limit. I'd just come off the traffic lights in the Green Hornet and was pushing past 70 on a clear road when I spy a car wanting to pull out of a side road.
No problem, I indicate and move to the outside lane to leave the inside clear. Car pulls out, then another car behind the first pulls out and around the first into the outside lane to overtake the first car, with me now doing over 80mph and closing fast.
I stand on the brakes and give her a mirror full of main beam and she pulls rather frantically out of the way.

Okay, so I really shouldnt have been doing 80mph in a 50 limit (despite most people doing 60+ along the same road), but the daft tart obviously had no road sense whatsoever.

Then the bloke in the first car, probably her boyfriend, decides to give chase and remostrate with me for his other halfs idiocy. He was in an old Rover 213, so he didnt get anywhere near me until I slowed for traffic about 3 miles later. When he came up behind me flashing his lights, I just slowed right down, changed to 3rd and pressed the loud pedal firmly. Last I ever saw of him

1905cc 16v DOHC, alloy block and head, fuel injected and no turbo. It'd fit in your 205 with a few minor mods.

Isn't it the same one that goes in the 205 16v ?

I still dream of owning a nice Lancia turbo one day.

My biggest dream is a British replica of the Lancia Stratos, but with the price tag on it I can dream on

Probably. I wasnt aware there was a proper factory 205-16v. The 309's were available with the 16v motor (although not in the UK, strangely enough) and of course the 405Mi16 used the same engine.

The later 2.0 16v engine from the 405Mi16 uses an iron block and isnt a patch on the earlier 1.9.

Here's one I will admit to (but sadly wouldn't work in this case)

Once upon a time some guy was driving a VAN up my arse. Each time I tapped the brake so he would back off... but regardless it didn't work but for maybe 50'.

So about 20' before the upcoming intersection/stop sign I locked the wheels up. Of course the profanities flew cause now he had no grill. I politely asked him if he wanted me to call the police and have a report drawn up for insurance reasons

It was all in good humor, shame he can't take a hint or a get a joke

Kruzin, I understand you completely and admire your self control. I just wish I could show that much restraint. It really pisses me off how inconsiderate and lazy people are today. The local shopping centers, grocery stores, convenience store etc are completely surronded by these sort of morons here. There is nothing that gets me going more than this. Shopping center is surrounded with no stopping signs let alone no parking because it's for emergency vehicles. Not sure the exact terminology they use.

I usually walk past them saying, look at these lazy ****ing ****s.

                        Saved themselve taking 10 steps.

At times like that you'd like to have an old beat up junker and just push them out of the way.

I heard about the Mi16, I think that's the one you find in the 205 16v.
                          It's a 150hp monster b4 tweaking.

Its rated as 160bhp as stock in mine, and thats with the BX's horribly restrictive central crossbox on the exhaust. Anecdotal evidence from a few guys who've raced Pug205 conversions with the Mi16 engine in say its not appreciably faster. Then again I noticed in the one conversion I saw they'd had to cut the inlet pipes from the plenum chamber back to about half of what they are in the BX. I'd place money on that affecting the engines performance, were I a betting man.

Most of my local superstores have the bays closest to the doors marked as Disabled Only or Parents with Children. Everytime I go past I see them filled with people who are quite obviously neither.
Most of them seem to be young men.

Which half proves my theory that women drive/park badly because they arent paying full attention, and men drive/park badly because they are a complete expletive and think its somehow clever or cool to be inconsiderate.

Everyone says how bad Utah drivers are, so I was not prepared for Miami. I have never said so many colorful statements in my life. *laughs* (No offense to Floridans...)
