About the weapons 'n stuff, Israel has been attacked in 48 and later with Russian rifles and jet fighters. The U.N proposed a limited state of Israel in 48 but it wasn't accepted by our neighbours.

Goldstein, if you're going to be a post-zionist extreme-left anti-Israeli, at least educate yourself before doing it.

Getting back on subject it seems that the German leaders are not very keen on the idea either.
My main reason why I'm against it is that the west built Iraq up against the then no.1 evil Iran. Hoping Soddem would topple that regime. I've said this all before and my viewpoint hasn't changed.
As I've written earlier in this thread any attack could also cause a lot of unrest in Britain as well.

Huh, don´t want to interrupt anything here, since this sounds like a perfectly healthy debate. And given how easy it is to make various types of weapons of mass destruction.....

You can make chemical weapons with the same facilities that make bleach.

You can make bioweapons using cultures of locally available bacteria (e-coli, legionellosis, anthrax or hanta virus infected mice will do), some home-made incubators/habitrails and a lab tech.

You can make a micro-nuke with only about 10kg of fusible material split into two pieces that will mate together (preferrably hemispheres), some heavy steel tubing, a small amount of explosives & detonator and a suicidal person to deliver it (no apparent shortage of these). It won't be efficient or large (maybe .2 kiloton), but it will be effective.

A radiological weapon only requires some radioactive material (easier to get than you think), a little metal work, some gunpowder and a trip to Radio Shak.
