So you've got your little (gas?) powered compressor running for four hours to charge the tank. Just how much crap is that putting into the atmosphere. Even if the compressor is electric, power has to be generated somewhere.

It sure wont fly in the US, but might do in europe. A lot of ppl commute 200km every day here. Plus, the noise will be an issue.

Somewhat true, but electricity can also be generated through other means, such as dams, solar, windmills (Central USA is big on these), and even geothermal; not just pollution-emitting coal and natural gas.

And yes, all such energy-generating equipment was probably manufactured using fossil fuels , but we have to draw the line somewhere. First get rid of NASCAR and all the SUVs ("A real man knows a station wagon when he sees one. ...") then we can talk about improving manufacturing processes.
Buckaroo, the President's on line 1, calling about is everything okay with the alien space bomb and Planet Ten, or should we just go ahead and destroy Russia?

Tell him yes on one and no on two.

Which was yes? The destroy Russia, or the, uh, number two?
