Whoa, didn't notice that. She sure looks more than 1/2 inch tall in the pictures
Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox

I knew a really tall 198 cm (6'6") girl, who looked tiny next to her 221 cm (7'2") boyfriend.

                  Metric System in Canada.

                  10 mm = 1 cm
                  10 cm = 1 dm
                  10 dm = 1 m
                  100 cm = 1 m
                  1000 m = 1 km
                  100 000 cm = 1 km
100 degrees Celsius equals 212 Fahrenheit.
0 degrees Celsius equals 32 Fahrenheit.
                  1 km = 5/8 of a mile.
                  1 kg = 2.2 pounds.
                  1 m = 39.37 inches.

That's because the pictures are scaled up.

i'm curious what other countries beside the US use another system than the metric one. same question Fahrenheit/Celsius. what is fahrenheit actually based on? celsius is pretty easy: water freezes at 0C, boils at 100C.

Yeah, and how about Reomyr (sp?)? Some swedes can shed some light on this?

                        For the record, I'm ~1630mm.

Just a guess: Farenheit is probably based on how a human feels temperature. 0-100F is probably about the temperature range you would be able to feel/survive/whatever.
