The coolest version of Pong I've ever played was the hidden Pong game in the old SegaCD game Black Hole Assult:

Pong will always have a place in the hearts of us "Older" MURCS, that remember playing that, when there was nothing else.

        Long Live Pong!!

Just last year a buddy from work was at a yard sale and he picked up Pong the Coleco version for $2 CDN. He brought it to work and during the lunch hour we had an 6 man tournament. Then word got out and it started to get pretty busy. It was a blast, after about 20 minutes a couple of the company's directors show up and have a crack at it. Then it just died.
As they say it was fun while it lasted.
