  • Here we go again: Ashland Virginia shooting....

    Not confirmed yet, but a single shot from >100' by a sniper on a 37 year old tourist who was exiting a restaurant.

    This one's about 90 miles south of the Washington DC area, but along the same freeway as the others.

    Neeless to say there is a cop-vention going on with roadblocks covering 30-40 miles near the event and more back in Maryland, which is where they think the sniper(s) center of operations is.

    Presuming it's confirmed;

    Interesting that the Pentagon announces spy planes would be patrolling over the DC area and this guy goes down the road to a restaurant in a rural area to do his next "event". If that doesn't show a high functioning perp I don't know what does.

    Anyone still think this is an amature nutcase and not terrorists?

    Time for the Feds to take over the investigation from the Maryland task force.

      I thought that after the first day, but then I always thought that this starting up at the same time as the Iraqi authorizations a bit much to just be coincidental.

        in my view this guy is not even a sniper. what a real sniper (Craig Roberts) said in radio interview on the Alex Jones show the other day, "this guy is an ambusher". snipers are one shot one kill and very long range, 500 yards or more. its an inside job to create a panic so everyone is willing to give up their guns in violation of the constitution. they call it "psyops" and it is payed for by what is called a "black ops budget" and run by the cia. at the same time, they are selling nuclear reactors and raw materials to north korea and the boarders are wide opened for anyone to join in on the chaos. the applicable motto by these creepy and evil people? ORDO AB CHAO

              FEDS!!!! The FEDS are friggn worthless nowadays...!!!!

              Notice this is happening in a part of our country with some of the strictest gun control laws (D.C area, Maryland and Virginia).

              I'm just glad I live where I do and have the right to carry a side arm (in the open) and keep a weapon in my vehicle legally. In Albuquerque it is not uncommon for armed citizens to apprehend or shoot would be purse snatchers and other such criminals. It is only a misdemeanor to carry a concealed weapon and no one is ever charged for using one to defend themselves out here. A situation like this "sniping" would not last long out here. It would be "Open Season" no licence needed for the SOB.

              I seriously doubt who ever is doing this so called "sniping" has any ties to organized terrorist groups. This doesn't have the symbolizim attached(Political/Religious/etc.) on which the terroist groups tend to focus.

                Gotta disagree with you there, Paul. "Shoot on sight" is fine, but nobody's seen this guy.

                  There are fewer bushes to hide in out there in NM as well.

                    I disagree. Al Qaeda has not issued contemporaneous claims of responsibility for their attacks. Responsibity claims, if any, have only come months later.

                    IMHO if it's not Al Qaeda then it's being done by someone inspired by them. Ex: the shooter that attacked the El Al airline terminal in LA a few months back.

                          He's back in surgery again, hopefully they can get the bullet this time. So far he's lost his spleen, pancreas and most of his stomach and at last word was in extremely critical condition.

                          ==prayers please==
