Ahhh, NyQuil. It could put a Elephant into a coma...

IMHO this cold/flu s**t is for the birds.

I'm coughing, sneezing, choking, aching and in general feel like standing in front of a bazooka just to put myself out of my misery

NyQuil kicks ass. It completely knocks you out for 8-10 hours. Deep unmoving sleep. After you wake up, your symptoms have usually returned enough to justify calling in sick. Then you take some DayQuil, and feel great for your whole day off

That NyQuil has 500mg Acetaminophen and 10% alcohol (beside other ingridients) in it. How safe is that ?

My mom and bro use Vicks gel, sticks and stuff like that when they're sick and it works.
Has no efect on me, I'm for chicken soup, warm tea and sleep

Word of advice. Never play games when you have high fever, you'll end up dreaming funky stuff about it. Last time I did that I was inside ST Armada playing with Warbirds like a kid in the sandbox

My cocktail is cough drops and sudafed during the day and two benadryls right before bed. Benadryl all day to put me out of my misery if necessary.

I knew an elderly fella who switched from valium to da Q...

back a decade or so ago a friend made a mess of NyQuil Jello shots for a party he was throwing

Doc it's that nasty 34f rainy weather you're dealing with... gonna be a sunny 88f here tomorrow

(Greebe who hasn't had a cold in almost 4 years now

Tips: don't allow the room temps to drop during the night... bacteria that is normally killed off by the higher air temps in your nasal passageways thrive when the temps dip. Stop drinking nasty tap water... either bottled or filtered (Brita or Pur work very well). Don't subject yourself to extreme heat/cold. Stay away from doctor offices/hospitals/schools ie germ infested people... including munchkins (or subjecting your own to them). Eat right and take a good Vitamin/mineral suppliment... C and Zinc are wonderful.

Bottled water I'd just go with what my brother law says. Leave well alone. He used to work for a company that made some and lets say the hygene wasn't up to scratch.

I do the brita water thing myself.. it's great. I even give it to my cat, and he now drinks substantially more water.

I have a special cocktail for sore throat.. supersaturate Bacardi151 with honey.. it's a miracle cure!
