          • I wonder if I could stretch Joel's new addition to the rule and say,

            (The) Ninth Gate

"Ninth" being a spelled out variation of "9" Maybe that's stretching it, so,

            Encino Man

"E" being the last letter in the spelled out version of "9".

            • Wouldnt "Nine and a half weeks" / "Nine months" / "Nine lives" be an easier way out ?

              • What's the fun in that? I guess if we must we can go along with the more logical choices that have been presented

                • Check this: the movie name was K9 - Last letter is "9"
                  Those movies can be called "9 1/2 weeks" / "9 months" / "9 lives".

                  Got it ?

                  • Erm yeah... once again sarcasm has been lost in the transition to a digital medium. The "Ninth Gate" part was not meant to be taken seriously, and the other is just as logical as yours, since changing "9" to "Nine" makes the last letter an "E".

                    Got it ?

                    • Yes, and Changing the "k" in "Moby Dick" to "Key" will make the last letter "Y".

                      • I think you've missed the point here. Go back and read Joel's post about allowing for numbers being represented in their alphabetic form, i.e., 9 = nine. It's a very simple concept.

Can we just move on... I will make it easy,

                        9 1/2 Weeks

                        • Did anyone do "Xanadu" yet? I mean, why avoid X?

There's X-Men, and X-err... well not THAT many X movies, but still.

If only life were as easy as you
I'm the least you could do, oh yeah
If only life were as easy as you
                          I would still get screwed
