"It's funny how the music industry is enraged about the Internet and the way things are copied without being paid for. But you know why people steal the music? Because they can't afford the music. I'm not condoning downloading music for free. I don't think that's really fair, but I understand it. If you brought CD prices back down to $8.98, you would solve a lot of the industry's problems. as a film maker i just wish they would simplfy the royalties procese and have reduced prices for non comercial and independent film categories....

i mean when i did my first film i had to go through hell to figure out how to pay the royalties... when i finaly consulted a specialist (who lives acrose the waters) i found out that i would have to pay in the range of $8,000... ?????? and my short film's bdget was only $1,000..... solution; tuck the damnd film some where in my closet and forget about it instead of sending it to film festivals and trying to market my name........ the fact is that the music industry dont make it simple......

LOL their parents are too busy with working or their own life to notice. I used to work in a School System that went up to 8th grade and some of the 8th Grade girls I saw and what they wore (thongs with leather pants etc) make me and usally the comment out of my mouth was I don't remember them looking that good when I was their age

heh, i liked his views... its about time someone with a name that people recognize started speaking about things like this...

about the clothes comment... in my senior year of high school the school board decided to go ahead with dress codes... the female half of the school pretty much revolted because it banned things like halter-tops, spaghetti straps, tube tops, etc... it did also specify that undergarments couldn't be showing (to hit both really, really revealing shirts and pants that are riding too low)...

i have never seen so many girls pissed off because of something as stupid as what clothes you have to wear... and the way the girls were dressing really was getting out of hand...

three things i find sad in this country... first is that female children wear these types of clothes (in part because their idol does (and no 8th grader who idolizes Christina Agulara is gonna believe that she is a skank), their friends do, their older sister does, the older girls they see around do, tv tells them to, etc...), second is that their parents either allow them by giving permission or allow them by not being involved in their childs life. i mean, good god... what type of parent really wants their 8th grade daughter wearing that stuff...

anyways... the third thing that pisses me off is the way the media sensationalizes things... look at Columbine... the media basically told all the pissed up, angry, angsty teenagers that you would become famous if you pull a gun and start shooting your classmates... yet at the same time the fears of it happening again had a fairly negative backlash on the students who were at risk of doing something like that, instead of trying to help them...
