UPDATE: count Russia in too. FOX just reported they have agreed to the US/UK proposal as well.
This means that 4 of the 5 permanent members of the UN Security Council have now signed on the the latest US/UK Iraq disarmament resolution. Typically the 5th permanent member, China, either goes along with the crowd or abstains instead of vetoing.
Word is the full UN Security Council votes on it tomorrow. Passage requires 9 of the Security Councils 15 votes, and it looks like they'll have that and then some.
Tick....tick....tick....

Stocks did bounce up after the end of the last Gulf War, but that's being attributed to other factors.
I cant find any hard data (at least not anything I can actually understand ) for stock market performance post the last two World Wars, but I beleive that the market was very bullish post both WW2 and WW1.
Personally I'm expecting a significant rise when/if the Iraq problem is solved.
