Actually, this gave us an idea, because there are new boards by VIA that have 6-channel-audio and dvd-decoding in it.

We're on our way to Ikea :-)

      Cheers,

CPU is a little hot under load, considering it's undervolted. He could have done that better.

I think he could have gotten it down considerably by just reversing the airflow....

With as much space as he had, he could have run dryer exhaust hosing from front to back with the heatsink in the middle.

Cool, I have always wanted to make a good "furniture" computer.

I like the idea behind this system, too bad this guy didn't spend the extra cash to make it even better.

It might work better if one could freeze-dry the pumpkin before turning it into a computer case. Less messy that way, and it'll last longer.

I've always wanted to get hold of an old console TV from the '60's, like the old Zenith my in-laws had way back when (Gawd, wotta monster!). I would strip out the old electronics, refinish it, and build it into a full-featured digital entertainment center. Only problem: no place to keep the damned thing!

Meanwhile, those old console TVs are getting harder and harder to find.

                            Well, continuing the "weird" pc-cases:
