      Now I remember!!

You'll get it all back when they have confirmed your identity and all that

read through the instructions on their site

They're still risky. Don't link them to your checking account, or you could find it frozen. www.paypalsucks.com

You know, we could get a merchant's license just like most online stores have, and take credit cards directly. Screw those theives at PayPal..

Then again there could have been the issue of cost and if anyone would contribute anyway.

Yes, I'm sure we will get more donations this way, which is a very good thing, but I still don't trust those people after my own experiences. I just find it somewhat offensive that these crooks would engender more trust than I (or Maggi) would.

hmm.. there are quite a few horror stories on that paypalsucks site... I still think its a good idea though... especially as there are so many of us in different countries. I wont be donating through PayPal though. I don't see the point in giving 20USD when Ant is half an hour up the motorway and he will only get £12.95 of it...

Ant, if you PM/mail me your address I'll send you a personalised cheque for £20. At least then you'll get all the money and there is no danger of any repercussions. You may even get a christmas card!

Same here Ant lives rather close unless he's moved lately.
By the way the email doesn't say you'll get it back and it should tell you on the first page not hide it away.

So there is no way of doing GBP through this PayPal thingie? Not sure that makes too much sense... Any other way for us Brits to get you money in full Ant? (Bank transfer; personal cheque...?)
