    Thought you'd like it

Some songs are next to impossible to translate to Midi, while others go so well they're almost better than the original.

I've got a superb midi for House of the Rising Sun, while I've got four or so versions of Henrix's Red House, most of which only sound good in small sections.

BTW, found a couple of midis for Santana's Black Magic Woman.

Yeah, I've got that version of Red House, as well as another that has more than the intro riff, but that version sounds terrible for the intro. One day I might get around to cut&pasting them together.

This is the best version of House of the Rising Sun I've ever found. It relies on a decent guitar sample on your soundcard though

I used to collect MIDIs too... Had thousands of them at some point, wonder where they all went?

It's true that most MIDI files require tweaking... Especially if you're using more than one MIDI device, or the file has strange SysEx commands that a generic MIDI player/device doesn't play right. In the best days I used to have an SB AWE32, a Gravis Ultrasound MAX and a couple of MIDI synths, now only a SB Live! and a MIDI keyboard.

Tried digging my backup CDs but ended up with only a few decent ones, and you can probably find them elsewhere anyway
