That's totally OT (but from the article), but all i can say is:Sony Corp. of America and Royal Philips Electronics get 3 cents for every CD manufactured, plus 3% of the price of every CD player sold.

Nah, they're not sweating anything. MS has known about these guys for years, and even "leveraged" their work. True, but they probably counted on InterTrust being a small firm that they can hassle around courts like many before... Now that big guys like Sony & Philips came into the game, MS certainly isn't at ease..._____________________________
