Because Africans (with the exception of some radical Muslims) leave us alone.
The missile was fired at an Isreali jetliner, not a US one. We're letting the Massad take care of that one.
Really nice mentality...kinda' "the problem exists only if it is our problem", right?
And someone said here that the attack on iraq is good for everybody on western hemisphere...
a) go home and stop sticking our noses in other nations' business, or
b) do you want us jumping from one lost-cause nation to the next, tearing down old despotic regimes, nation-building and installing "friendly" governments in their place (as in, for example, Iraq) and keep trying to make everyone love us with TONS MORE foreign aid?
If, as many assert, the United States "created" Saddam Hussein's regime, isn't it our responsibility to get rid of him?
Which is it to be? We Americans REALLY want to know. Let's try to reach some consensus here.

So which is it? Should we help or not, damn it? You can't have it both ways. You either do or you don't...there's no in between.

What I love is how on the one hand we're loudly criticized for suggesting we might act unilaterally without international consensus on our side. Then when we do get international consensus on our side we're accused of "strongarming," "bullying," or "blackmailing" the rest of the international community around to our point of view, or "fabricating evidence." Since we're screwed no matter what, why should we care at all what the international community thinks?

You're an old geezer who's about to die anyway so it's a waste of time. I'll just wait patiently to dance and take a piss on your fresh grave.
One thing you're right though, how can we deal with the Arabs when there's so much scum coming out of the enemy within (read: you).
Rot in hell, slowly.
Hey Joel, how come you frown on objective political opinions but you don't say anything on these kind of posts?
Do Israelis get a special treatment? or is it just that people from Tel Aviv are expected to be arrogant, impolite and imbecile and you just consider it standard behavior?
