And oh so true. That's the thing I seem to remember the most from my visits to Chicago: "Brrrr, it's f*cking cold....."

                    Wimps!

It's not cold until the snow squeaks when you step on it. (instead of the usual crunch noise) So far I haven't experienced this in Chicago. It'll happen a few days each winter back home in Minnesota though.

It was a beautiful day today in the Chicago suburbs. Might have hit 50F. It hasn't really been cold this entire winter if you ask me.

It just means we're due is all.

There's the same thing about lawyers which ends something like this:

                        @ -100 degrees

Santa Claus abandons the North Pole.

It actually hit 60 in some places. That was good, because I just bought a nitro R/C truck and needed to break in the engine. However, since it was damp / rainy all day, I still couldn't take the truck out for the breakin.

Anyway, so far the temperatures seem to be a bit warmer than usual for this time of year. Watch the weather channel a bit though, because their long-term forcasts are showing a real cooling trend for the rest of the week (saw that they're predicting a high of like 27F on Saturday!).
