That's why I was asking to Gurm if he had references...

Drizzt, you are the first person I've seen on MURC bring up Warhammer or and of Games Workshop's overpriced miniatures games. (I own, Bretonnians, Dwarves, Eldar, and Tau)

        But back on topic.

Did anyone miss the singing (humming) by Treebeard? I sure would have liked to have seen(heard) it, and it would have given the ents a little more depth in the film. But I think Ents are kickass on their own.

          PowerHungry:

Well, the third time through I noticed that he did Hrum Hroom once or twice, but that's about it.

          Drizzt:

I'm willing to bet dimes to dollars that Warhammer, just like AD&D, is a pathetic ripoff of Tolkien. I think I've gone out on a limb before stating that everything fantasy-related since 1950 has been derivative of Tolkien... including the artwork.

I'm the least you could do, oh yeah
If only life were as easy as you
          I would still get screwed

Maybe it's not a limb, maybe it's an Ent Arm!

Ok, now, let's try to ignore for a moment that Tolkien is a ripoff of 30 thousand years of human history, and move on:

Can you find the source for the above things I have asked?
I bet you know a lot of Tolkien fori

Dude, every piece of great art is a "ripoff" of human history.

See, that's the point. One of the distinguishing features of a great creation is that you can't nail down the source. Human beings base almost everything off of experience. If you can't narrow down "ripoff" any better than "thirty thousand years of life," that's a pretty damn fine piece of work.
