I really like that movie! I'm a fan of film noir though.

Yup, same here, a sick but very enjoyable movie...ah well, "each to his own"

The Cell....could've been good if it was done differently, but as it was.....it sucked!....total waste of money and time to see that.

Not a total waste. The plot was bad, the acting was bad, but the eye candy was cool.

It was called "Dracula", was made in 1979 and starred Frank Langella. His Dracula was one of the first to portray the bloodsucker as a romantic figure. Co-stars were Laurence Olivier (Van Helsing) and Kate Nelligan (Lucy). It was the "chick filck" of its day and did quite well.

In 1974 Langella had starred in a TV remake of "The Mark of Zorro" that wasn't too shabby either and probably led to the Dracula role. Ricardo Montalban starred as his nemesis. With Langella doing quite well as the swashbuckling romantic hero and Montalban doing his evil best it wasn't too bad for a TV flick.
