Well you just need to know how many people are on drugs and how many drive and you'll get fairly good idea.
Not really. I read an article recently, I'm still trying to find it so I can scan it in , that stated that there are more driving accidents cause by people using cell phones while driving than people impaired on drugs other than alcohol that is. And that there are more non alcohol related driving deaths caused by things like, taking your eyes off the road to adjust the radio, driving too fast, eating while driving, just not paying attention, mechaical failures, etc.

MADD has an adgenda and they will distort any statistics to push that adgenda.

Don't get me wrong I do agree that driving while impaired is wrong and if you are caught you should get the book thrown at you but for the police to go into an establishment to arrest people that have had a few too many before they are even behind the wheel is just plain wrong and that is what this discussion was about.

yes, I have seen that. They found even using a handsfree kit with a mobile is still worse than being slightly over the limit.
