When someone posts something, it is their opinion and I believe that as long as it has relevance to the related thread or post it should be respected. As I said I have been in forums where the users or forum member’s opinion is different to that of the forum or a single moderator of the forum. The result can be a moderator using his/her power and deleting such as users/members post even if it is a valid point. So what I’ am trying to say is!! That anything goes on MxPro …lol

            Ahh ok, fair enough.
I will say that I am not interested in a site that has too much adult content. Also I would recomend takeing care of how much adult content is viewable by minors

You have to enforce ... err ... that thingy ... with minors ... you all know what I'm talking about, right? It's an acronym I can never remember. *shrug*

As for that forum... I am already a member of forums where I can find nudie pics. *shrug*

              I would still get screwed

                Hey 3dfx,
Are you trying to create a "rage3d" forum

Gotta love these threads, "I have issues with your forum so I'm gonna create my own and let people know about it on your forum, detracting from your's in the process...". Ok, so maybe I'm oversimplifying or misrepresenting the intent here, but it's nothing new really.

I guess I have to take issue with any new site/forum that is simply a rehash of others (that are often better done). Not trying to single this particular case out, but I think we've all seen our fair share of "hey look at my tech news forum/soap box forum" and "this one is different because it allows for uncensored conversations/has babes...". MURC is a perfect example of a site/forum that doesn't fall into this category, despite the immense popularity of the Soap Box, MURC has been and will always be (I'd be willing to bet) a site for users/owners of Matrox products. It has a purpose and provides a common base for all members.

Think about that. Try and find a niche that your site/forum can cater to that isn't already overflowing with immitations and whatnot.

3dfx, you know that this thread would be considered as "spam" on all of the fori I know, if you posted it there. I'm surprised it's not closed by now.

Oh, btw: wtf is that thing with the "popup killer app detected" message that appears with Phoenix?? I deliberately use Phoenix because of this feature (not alone, but it is a reason), as I feel free to retain control over my computer when surfing the web and only open new windows when I want to do so.

Besides that, the "popupkiller detected" is easily defeated by disabling Javascript. So I don't have any popups and do not get the message
