Well, yet another celebrity has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Townsend says he was "doing research" when he downloaded pictures of children being molested.

Research for what? His book. You see, he is "pretty sure" he was molested as a child, although he can't really remember it.

Actually there is growing doubt in professional psychological circles that memory repression per se happens anywhere NEAR as often as it is currently believed.

Recovery of "repressed" memories is now completely frowned upon, since the landmark cases involving it have been proven to be utter fabrications, implanted by the shrink into the suggestible mind of the patient.

I have meet several "shrinks" that tried to make me "remember" things

They usualy stoped when I told them that "now i remember, you are the wicked witch"

And the reason I was seeing a shrink (against my will) was because I harrased in school

and according to schol logic it was ofcourse ME that had a screw lose when other kids tried to annoy me to death....

Now that it has become acceptible to prosecute someone for this particular thought crime, I wonder what will be next? Notice how they start with something that everyone is afraid to argue with them about because it is one of the few taboos still existing in our f***ed up society?

In our University theres one or two students researching child porn (Vomits in a bucket) whether it's legal or not seems rather tricky. I wonder if they've taken recent legal advise. The legal aspect seems rather difficult judging by comments a lawyer has made in the pcplus or was it pcpro. I can remember him discussing a case of college professor doing research and being arrested for possession.
So if your kid takes your credit card and downloads the vomit enjoying explaining it.
