The REAL reason he has that is cos I stole his old one for a day

Mine was created by Paddy for me. It's my old 'Brain' av (cos I work in a Psychology department) and my new Mr P and TFT. I don't think it's gonna last much longer though.

I used to use an embossed face of my 1st born. I may do the same for my 2nd born

My avatar, in real size, is part of a diagram for the life cycle of a protein/enzyme.

Its made up of food and animals if you look closely.

(Personally, when reduced to this size it looks like a mutant babies face. This was purely unintentional. just liked the output.))

Mine is Guts (a.k.a. Gattsu, Guttsu, Gatsu, etc.) from the Japanese anime/manga named Berserk. It is my all time favorite anime/manga. This particular image I got from www.ArcticNightfall.com and is Guts as the Black Swordsman (he goes through many nicknames in the manga).

I am a huge anime fan. There are actually quite a few anime fans on MURC, in case you hadn't noticed.

Mine's this plush snake thing called 'Jake the Snake'. Those spots you probably think are its eyes are actually its nostrils. If you knock it or touch it (clapping really loud near it is enough) it shakes, spins slowly, and sings the 'Gin-Gan-Gooly' song. My mum got it as a Christmas present for my sister a couple of years ago - sis was not impressed

Anyway, I took the picture when I was messing around with the camera - I put the lense right up against Jake, and was quite surprised that it didn't come out horribly blurry. He sort of leaps out of the photo at you, which is why I used it, although that effect is lost when you scale him down to avatar size...

Here's a more normal photo of him (although you still can't see his eyes), alongside a potential future avatar.
