Favourite Anime

Even though I like anime, I am not so exposed to it like you guys.

A heard a lot of people say good things about akira se. Well I watched it and honestly I did not find anything special about it.

Well I'm a big fan of the Americanized (Macross) Robotech Series, even though the two not based on Macross kinda sucked.

I just got done watching Macross Zero esp 1, the pre-squeal series to Macross and all I have to say is that the Animation is awesome in it...totally lifelike. Its on the Must buy DVD when they get the american subtitled verison out. Its Amazing how much stuff has improved in 20 years.

There was another series that I watched on Cartoon network during last summer. I forget the name of it but it was only like 18 espisodes long.

As for movies....Fist of the North Star is good and there was another moive that I remember that was called Gigo number something. What I can remember from it was that the guy was assisin and there was one part in the moive that he killed someone shooting though a building into another one. Plus it had alot of naked chicks :0. I've seen bits and pieces of Deep Blue 6 on cartoon network and I need to look to download it or rent it one day.

Well, unfortunatly we dont get any anime on TV here in the netherlands, accept for DBZ and the kiddies stuff (Pokemon, Digimon, and all the others), so I only get to see what I download (or buy).

and of course: Love Hina (who doesnt know this one?)

- Metropolis
- Ghost in the Shell
- Akira
- Princess Monoke

Yup thats it....I'm still impressed by Macross Zero...I watched it early this morning....and the biggest disappointment is that the next episode doesnt come out till spring
