Well, just mind use UK in future. It's funny the amount of people who think that Scotland isn't actually a country.Originally posted by bibble
ok ok it was late when i posted it - GB/england cos wasnt sure if someone from scotland would moan
Also, why is Austria called Austria?
It would make much more sense to call it Eastland? I presume some dumb Englishman couldn't translate it, so just pronounced it in English as best he could

LOL pretty close. In German it is "East land" (Österriech), but some silly English fellow spelled "Öst" as "Aust" which really means south in Latin (which Austria also is, in relation to the rest of the German speaking lands, so it's even more confusing.)Originally posted by Pace

I thought that was Helevitia..
Or Gallia.. or Sarmatia..

Funny that Finland rates its own entry, separate from "rest of Europe" (!)
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

You do know that Toronto is bigger than Detroit right? Both in population and economy. Yeah, that's right. Deal with it.Originally posted by Dr Mordrid
I live in Michigan, USA. You know...that mitten-shaped penninsula that keeps Ontario financially viable?

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox
