    Let's just forget those sentimetal / idealistic thoughts. What's really driving France and G. Schröder (i won't write Germany here) to vote against war are the same plain economic/monetary reasons that are driving the US to vote for it...
    France is making quite some money there in the IRaq with their oil companys and about the same goes for Germany where several large companies don't have any interest in a war against Iraq purely because of ecenomic reasons.
    G. Schröder especially woud be the first to support the US fully nuking the Iraq if only that would help him win the next elections so stop that unbelievable naive crap about him and Girac caring about humanitary concerns
    OMG...your the first European on this DG that I've seen thats "seen the light" here...nice to see
    Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

        @Thop

        Read carefully what Indiana posted

        What's really driving France and G. Schröder (i won't write Germany here) to vote against war are the same plain economic/monetary reasons that are driving the US to vote for it...
        I read that as, he's pointing out that while most of us question some of the US motives for this, He'd like to point out that other countries also have other motives for join/avoiding this conflict.

        No more baiting - understood? if there is any more baiting from anyone this thread will be closed. No if's ands or buts.

        wakkata?

          Whats baiting? I understand what he says and of course there is some truth in that. If Schröder was such a good guy only concerned about the Iraqis then he'd go and build an hospital there with his own hands.
          However i'd like to know where exactly France and Germanys business interest are in Iraq?

          wakkata to you too (i hope thats not sth. rude )
