    You can't "cook" an eye with 1/64th inch of penetration using a pulsed weapon, which is what these are.

    When pulsed there isn't enough thermal buildup to cook a flea...just enough of an electrical jolt to the pain neurons to make him jump halfway to Mars

      sorry if my posting implied what you just said.

      these weapons were used by the NATO (which includes quiet a lot of european countries) during the last war.

        That's one of the main reasons we don't use "laser guns" for mounted weapons on vehicles even when the technology exists to make them effective, even if just for blinding the enemy. So far laser weapon development has focused on use against unmanned targets, like ballistic missiles or satellites.
