arg... what is wrong with ppl these days

last year a production company called me up and said that i was recomended to them by 5 ppl as an Avid editor... they asked to meet with me and i did... i even ofered them two consultation setions... botem line... they where impressed.... after a week they call me to ask if i know any Avid editors intrested in working with them..????

i hung up....

last week.. i got an int'l call from a production house in dubai... they had heard about me from some coleags and wanted to see if i was intrested in job... i said sure send me the details.... they said fine and please send your CV.... I did... its been 5 days and still i have recived nothing from them .. no fax.. no email... no call... i am geting pissed off becuase i realy need a job change ...... where i am at is not such a great place and not in my line of work..... this depressing ... i hate waiting..... its just so frustrating...... dont these ppl have at leaset the sence of decency to let me know that they dont want me instead of letting me sit here and go bezerk.... arggggg

Absolutely not. They will not bother with anyone they don't consider important to them. Since they do not for some reason want to hire you, you are not important.

The worst part is when a company you think you have a working relationship with just utterly fails to return your calls or anything... because you're no longer "useful" to them.

This economy sucks, worldwide.
