  • Powell makes the case.....

IMHO the intercepts, photos and the ties between Iraq, Al Qaeda operatives and the European/Russian poison cells is compelling.

    CNN

    FOX

    Howard Fineman's Newsweek article

Looks like "the Powell Doctrine" (if you use military force make it overwhelming) will end up being used again.....

Look, the CLASSIFIED stuff that has "leaked" is pretty compelling. Every time the inspectors set out to a "surprise" inspection, the Iraqis are there, on satellite, getting the area ready.

Is there a leak in the inspection group? That's the implication, although we can't be sure it isn't a leak elsewhere, or spying/bugging.

        I just found it hilarious.

Look, here's a satellite picture of the inspectors headed for Site X... as the last of the trucks leaves Site X bound for Site J.

Here's a satellite picture of the inspectors headed for Site Q... as the last of the trucks leaves Site Q bound for Site X.

But they're not covering anything up. NOOOOOooooooooooo.

I recall hearing on the radio here while driving back home from work a few weeks ago that during the original inspections, before they stopped in 1998, France was leaking the list of sites to be visited to Iraq.

To circumvent this, the first list that was made, was bogus and a second "TRUE" list was used. After that the French got wise to the fact that a second list was in use and then a THIRD list was used, with 2 bogus lists for the French to use. Then the inspectors were thrown out.

France supposedly has oil contracts and was therefore looking out for its own interests.

LOL. You made a funny and didn't even know it.

Allies in deed, means that they are allied with us through their deeds.

Allies indeed, means that they are, in fact, allies.

You were being sarcastic, but in effect you made a funnier funny.

Because France's major "deeds" in the last century have involved... surrendering.

The reason France & Germany are so determined no war take place is that in the aftermath it'll be found they were the ones selling Iraq much of what the UN inspectors are now looking for

That and, of course, Frances precious oil leases.
