This indicates things are on a very short fuse. As far as timing goes; past practice indicates that a new moon is when the US strikes. There is a new moon in 3 weeks.

Also: the govt. has announced severe flight restrictions within 30 miles and up to 18,000 feet around Washington DC. All restricted zone wavers have also been cancelled.

I would imagine anything that violates this is going to have F-18's on their wing position in short order.

This is most likely because of the HIGH terror alert announced yesterday, but might also be a pre-emption against retaliatory strikes after military action starts.

Well, if you lived in PA you'd understand that in ADDITION to being dull and uncharismatic, he was also not a particularly competent statesman. A quick glance around this neck of the woods would indicate that the state is a-hurtin'.
