Ask at your local post office - normally, money transfer by snailmail os not allowed in germany, but you can send an insured envelope containing money for just the standard envelope fee + ~3 EUR (which is quite reasonable).

Probably I'm as dumb as no one else, but what about going to your postal office, take a payment form (-hope it is called so) and make a payment to an international postal account owned by Ant?

I was thinking to do so... (with the classic 0.50 € spent in taxes).

I don't know if I follow you, Drizzt. Do you mean putting money in an envelope (or letting the post office guy do it) and then send it? (This is what I meant, and what is illegal with ordinary letters, but there is a special insured tarriff for that).

Ant open a P.O. account, that is similar to a bank account only that it's managed by the national post service. Then, they give him xxxxxxx and yyyyyy, wich are the identifier of its account.
We simply goes to our nearest post office and say ""Put this here into xxxxxxx and yyyyyy P.O. account", and then they do it. And it cost money 0.50.€


To be honest as I think that Italy is one of the less advanced nations on earth, if we have this system it I'm pretty sure every other nation has it

1. I am vehemently (that is VERY) opposed to ads. Pls try to do it on the bases of donations first. 2. Given the commitments you already have, you should be able to cover the costs for at least 3 years
3. I'd be happy to donate a bit. I am not sure I can work a P.O. Box kinda thing from the Netherlands (I thought a P.O. Box was something u sent mail to..?!?) I can make international transfers though at not to much cost. Give me the name of ur bank and ur account number and my contribution will be on tha way.
4. A "Gold Member" sign does well for my ego: don't do it. It's bad enough that this msg will get me closer to becoming a MURCer already. I am living proof of the fatc that one can become a Super Murcer without ever posting a sensible matrox related post (or at all)

However, I've discovered that from Europe we have an interesting number of way to send money with a minimal charge to another european place and even to other place in the world if they have agreed to the service.

Now, if only someone can explain me WHY THE HELL Great Britain is not an European nation...and WHY even Burkina Faso has agreed and not Great Britain!!!

Petitioning the big 'M' is a damm good idea, we can easilly get a few thousand names from this site.

Someone hurry up and sort out how this is gonna be done, I have £50.00 burning a hole in my pocket and if it stays in there for much longer I will waste it on more games.

On the EU thing, our government is stupid, we will get there eventually.
