  • Not animated Avators on the site?

I am sure it's not an error in my IE that the Avator images (every one) are not animated anymore.
Downloaded my Avatar image to HD: no animation.
    Original .gif image: animated
Changed (uploaded new .gif) Avatar: NO animation.

        Works over here!
According to the latest official figures, 43% of all statistics are totally worthless...

BTW Make sure you do not press the stop button as it will also stop the gif animations!

But probably it was. I am not sure, but I just tested the Directory Opus Explorer "Exchanger". It was an idea from another thread:

Uninstalled and restarted the computer with no help. Than powered down the computer and up again and voilà the animation came back. After some login problems, to this Forum it works now.

I am not sure that the Directory Opus caused the error, but it could be an idea for others, and I'll try to install it again to be certain.
            Thanks, anybody for helping.

I thought it was the Directory Opus program, but it must be something else.
Yes, IE 5.5 error, but now it works.

Perhaps your "play animations ..." setting got changed in your browser options.

Sure, but it WAS marked as ON. Tried to switch it of and try, than on again and with no change. Couldn't find it why, but a recent system Ghost restore helped
More important for me is to know that a normal installation of "Directory Opus" doesn’t cause this error.
Maybe there was a faulty setting (by myself). DOpen asks to keep IE as standard, and I suspect some errors there. Alternatively, I made something silly using the “AdAware” remover.
Anyway, it works now and it is stable. But it could be funny to investigate to find the error, using the Ghosted copy of the faulty system.
                    Thanks everyone for helping.
