Just curious, if a guest can't post, how can he/she (we have an open mind ) quote a post ?

well it might not have the capcity to show every instance or setion that is open per user...? so puts them down as guest i supose

The answer is rather dull.

The who's online page shows what the client is trying to do, not what the client is allowed to do - so many times it will show a user doing moderating duties etc.

99.9% of the time it's a search bot just checking every link on a page.

also, if a logged-in user has the option checked to hide its online status, he will be labled as guest ...
