English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

I can't access it in paperback book form. Do something about it Sasq - just not good enough - this technology has been around for centuries

Yup. And publish enough copies each day that I can pick it up in the local newsagents wherever I happen to be

Was just kidding, it's not a problem at all
However, for what I could test, the problem is basically the use of frames.

We don't use frames, however imode, and more specifically cHTML - which WAP uses a subset of from memory, we don't use it here so I haven't checked to be honest - doesn't have tables.

phpBB has an available hack to let it be seen on WAP and Imode based phones, but I am unaware of a good one for this version of vBB. I think there is work on one for the next version of vBB.

If it is doable, I will consider it - as it lets me keep an eye on things if I'm out and about

                    Sorry, I meant tables!

I was thinking to write a little .php page to use to filter the normal HTML pages.

However, there is full of HTML compliant web browser for MIDP and J2ME platforms...I'll try one.

                      Google in printversion:

BTW, it is very cool that you can access MURC and post via Lynx!

Yup - I actually for a laugh (!?!) when project managing website builds a few years ago would annoy my designers and coders by testing the sites in Lynx... actually I was surprised by how many sites where navigable and readable (albeit just...)!

Try Links some time. It is a text mode browser too - but much nicer than lynx

Just try Opera in Text Browser mode or "Nostalgia" (C64 shell look-alike)
